Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo just came out for the ipad, so we finally got the excuse we’ve been waiting for to make this comic. As always, we at ReadySoup try to stay as true to the source material as possible, so all of the things Putt-Putt mentions in panel one are actual events in the series. He may have actually been one of the cars in the race rather than the car driving one of the cars, though....

Remember that thing I said about the greatest buddy cop movie of all time? Well, we think about it every waking moment, so here is the trailer for the first ever motion picture by the brand new Readysoup Pictures inc.
If you’re having trouble understanding this one, you probably don’t know these characters, or you’re over thinking it. There’s not much to it really; we just...

A Hearty Brew
I did not think this one would ever make it off the idea board.
We’re thinking of making a twitter account to tweet the unused ideas we come up with during our writing process, but Cork Board of Justice, which is what we call our idea board, is too many characters for a profile. If you would follow us, tell us, and we’ll think of a new name and get it up and running. Neither of us...

Skyward Bored
Skyward Sword is pretty incredible. Fi, on the other hand, is just awful. She just does not stop talking. On top of that, nothing she says is necessary at all. I don’t need her to tell me when my health gets low. That’s what the beeping is for. What bothers me the most about her, though, is her purple dialogue boxes. They don’t ever look good in whatever background they are on....

Game's Awakening
Link’s got game. In fact, he has so much game that we decided to make a series of comics dedicated to said game. Link also has games, and a new one comes out today. As I write this I have yet to pick up a copy. Otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this. All five comics are going up at the same time, so for a limited time, look at ten posts per page.
Poor Saria. She gets no love. Even if you really try...

Game of Ages
I know how we wrote this comic, but I don’t think anyone ever says no to Malon’s dad.

Twilight Game
I always liked Ruto the best. I’m not sure why. She is a giant fish, after all. I think it has something to do with the moral obligation of actually getting engaged to her.

A Link to the Game
Oh Nabooru, you’re creepy. Even ignoring the sexual tension between her and young Link, I’ve always found her unnerving for some reason. Maybe it’s because she’s the only sage you don’t meet early in the game. Maybe it’s her Nigel Thornberry sized nose. I don’t know.
Fun bit of Ready Soup Trivia: Two of these characters aren’t from Ocarina of Time.

Ocarina of Game
And then, his game slips up. I know this is an odd time for a Bastion spoiler, but my favorite part of that game was choosing not to turn back time at the end. After a dozen times playing Ocarina of Time, it was cathartic to say, “no. things got bad, but the world must move forward.”
In parting, I like to imagine that after everything, Link, like Black Bolt, marries all five of these women and...

Teamwork
We made another Skyrim comic. We wanted to shy away from doing the same game twice, but we really haven’t been thinking about anything else lately, with the obvious exception of how much we want to play Skyward Sword.
This is a true story by the way. I wasn’t actually having any trouble with the dragon, but something got glitchy with his AI, and he flew around way too far away from...
