This is by a large margin my favorite comic we’ve ever made. Also, I had an excuse to watch this scene about six times while we were writing it, so I love it even more.

Why are they making these? They actually are. We didn’t make this up. Aren’t all Legos pretty much Minecraft Legos? I can’t think of a way they wont be Legos that you can’t do quite as much with.
Years ago, the first time we tried to make a comic with John and Mitch (probably second or third time but the first time we made more than one page), we had them save the life of the monopoly man, who then gave them a wheelbarrow full of money because John’s asymmetrical eye-wear matched his monocle. Later, we realized that the monopoly man doesn’t wear a monocle. That was back when...
I guess Resident Evil has completely forsaken the survival part of being a survival horror and went with action instead. Of course, this has been happening since 4, but the recently released trailer for 6 has taken it to another level. As far as I can tell, the parts in which you play as Chris involve commanding a six-man squad of soldiers and fighting other soldiers in a city that may or may not...
Fun fact I learned from writing this comic: Pal, the original dog that played Lassie, was a male.
After we made the five Ocarina of Time comics, John told me that he wanted to draw less pictures of sad women and more pictures of a sad Micheal Otters. I think we’ve been doing pretty well with that.
John and I essentially had this conversation. Just replace “on the toilet” with “at home,” and all the poop connotation with throwing up.

Disclaimer: This isn’t meant to be political at all. I don’t even know if that opening line really makes any sense. We only used Mitt Romney because he’s leading the polls right now.
Now that that’s out of the way, we played the Asura’s Wrath demo, and it was the most astonishingly uninformative demo I have ever played. Although it was not small, it had no gameplay...
We love this guy. Something about an unbeatable pokemon trainer just works for us. We considered making a separate comic that exclusively chronicled his exploits, but that seemed like an unnecessary division of our efforts. Anyway, he will probably pop up on occasion to satisfy our ned to make a pokemon comic.
For anyone new to Ready Soup, we have a twitter account and an email account at...

I love Groose. It’s rare to find such a Gaston-like character these days. One of the most important lessons that other games should learn from Zelda is to be endearing. Skyward Sword had characters that were likeable in a way that even the best of today’s games don’t manage, and they did it without voice acting. I cared more about saving Zelda in that game than I have about...

The Little Mermaid is the greatest Disney movie ever made. I could explain why, but I shouldn’t have to tell you; you should just know.
