John had to deal with an unexpected emergency today and couldn’t finish the comic. He’s fine, and the comic should be up sometime Friday. Thanks for your patience.
UPDATE: Comic’s up. I like to envision the actions of 8 and 16 bit characters as not abstractions or analogies to more complex exciting actions but rather exactly what the character is supposed to be doing. As such, I see Mario as an unstoppable Juggernaut running forward and stomping anything that gets in his way to death. I see Megaman as a burning everything he sees to the ground and slowly hopping forward to rip the essence from his enemies and devour it. Each of them moves forward with an unchanging blank stare as he completes his macabre task.
